Business Ethics: The thin line between right and wrong practices

Toyin was personal assistant to the Chief Executive of a large Nigerian parastatal. He was young, married with four children and earning a comfortably high income.

It appears though, the parastatal was about to hit troubled waters. It was rumored, his boss would soon be replaced and naturally, his replacement would come harmed with his/her own personal assistant which meant at the very least, a demotion for Toyin or at worst, job loss. Combined with the cost of being a sponsor to three other family members in higher institutions and his uncompleted bungalow, his financial situation would sour real fast.
